The 2019 Honda Celebration of Light will feature a couple of rookie nations when it lights up Vancouver skies this summer.India’s Amir Morani Fireworks will kick off the festival on Saturday, July 27, followed by Canada’s Firemaster Productions Inc. on Wednesday, July 31, and Croatia’s Mirnovec Fireworks on Saturday, Aug. 3.Music will be simulcast on The Breeze 104.3 FM and through the festival’s mobile app.
The festival will also feature live music, food trucks and a site-wide liquor license on all three days at the Park Stage on Second Beach.South Korea was crowned champions of the 2018 Celebration of Light. Last year’s festival attracted more than 1.2 million festival goers to the beaches of English Bay, Second Beach and Vanier Park.
