A 30-year-old woman was arrested last night after allegedly refusing to provide a breath sample at the scene of a car crash on Des Chenes Drive.
Sault police were called to the scene at around 9 p.m. Tuesday night, where they say the woman "refused all demands" to provide a breath sample into an approved screening device. Elizabath Vanlubeek is charged with one count of failure or refusal to comply with a breath demand. She was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled back in court on Oct. 23, 2023.
None of the allegations have been tested in court and Vanlubeek is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
