According to the latest update from the province, a fire grew significantly Friday night and covered about 3,000 hectares by Saturday afternoon. Highway 800 is also closed at Highway 10, and Highway 10 is also closed in both directions near Bakers Narrows, southeast of Flin Flon.Lori Forbes, the municipal emergency coordinator for the area, said just under 700 residents of Cranberry Portage have left the community after the evacuation order was issued at about 7 p.m. Saturday.
