The Public Schools Branch said if a student tests negative on a COVID-19 rapid test, they should stay home until symptoms have improved to where they can fully participate in the school day.follow the guidance from the Chief Public Health Office. After multiple requests, no one from the Public Schools Branch was made available to speak to SaltWire Network to answer questions about the rate of illness and absence in P.E.I. schools.
