B.C. COVID\u002D19 Modelling Group confirms a new wave and variant of Omicron is sweeping the province, with hospitalization expected to rise.

The independent group of academics has been reporting regularly on the pandemic since 2020 and in its latest review confirms Healththat B.C. is in the third Omicron wave of the pandemic — driven by the emergence of the BA.5 subvariant.

Until they tweak the vaccine, offering more doses of the old one doesn't seem to be good value for the effort and expense.

Then you mandate just ba 1-5 vaccine, 2 boosters and 1 monkey pox vaccine this fall. But I don't tany covid vaccine, thank you.
