All draw proceeds will go to Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation to buy hospital equipment

The WHL regular season is rapidly coming to an end and the first-place Prince George Cougars are making plans for the playoffs.

The Cougars will face the Kamloops Blazers in their last home game before the postseason on Saturday, March 23 and on Retro Night fans will have at least 50,000 reasons to get involved in the final Mega 50-50 draw.One lucky fan will go home with half of the night’s total and the other half will be donated to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation top purchase medical equipment for University Hospital of Northern B.C.

Spirit of the North recently provided $1.4 million that was used to complete the neonatal intensive care unit at the hospital.Still buzzing from their big comeback overtime win Saturday over the Spokane Chiefs at CN Centre, the Cougars are back in action this weekend when they host the Vancouver Giants Friday and Saturday .

Tickets for that game and the March 23 clash with Kamloops are available through Tickets North or at the CN Centre box office. The Cougars are also selling single-game tickets for the first round of playoffs, which starts on Friday, March 29.
