Critics reject changes to Roald Dahl books as censorshipCritics are accusing the British publisher of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s books of censorship after it removed colorful language from works such as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “Matilda” to make them more acceptable to modern readers. They are editing the books to remove 'offensive passages'. This is, literally, the definition of censorship. Maybe you should go back to journalism school, or at least ask for your money back. What?!?! The books should be left as the author intended it to be. If it offends, don't read it. These are works of art and created this way for a reason and is the imagination of an amazing author. Leave them alone! Pathetic…Don’t like it, don’t read it. PuffinBooks
