However, he adds it is difficult to quantify many other potential time savers, such as reduced trucking to site, smaller crews, less waste onsite, faster enclosure requirements, pre-co-ordinated MEPF penetrations, reduced dropped ceilings and more natural finishes., although large-scale prefabrication or volumetric modular production in Ontario is currently limited. Significant investment in new facilities would need to take place.
