The situation at this school describes what is happening on a smaller scale at the feeder middle and primary schools in the catchment area. We need to address these issues at the younger age group as well so that it doesn't all come to a head in high schools.

I have complained to fordnation , JohnTory , the police department about this school & nothing is being done! Nothing will get done & it will continue to get worse until someone gets killed god forbid because our government officials don’t ever react until blood is shed!
Imagine going to work everyday and having to know this is what you face!😬 You couldn't pay me enough to do that. A very serious look at what is happening at Toronto schools has to be done. You cannot have a minority of violent students calling the shots.
This school is populated with kids who have no father in their lives, no mother that matter, no direction, and have never been disciplined. They are enthralled in gangster rap and feel emboldened when there aren’t any consequences for their actions.
This is horrible in so many ways.
Good thing they took cops out of schools. We wouldn't want any extra pairs of eyes watching for this. Well, the people got what they asked for and now the schools have become what we warned they would.

Or let teachers and parents enforce physical discipline again. Kids are POSs because they don't have any fear in them. Back in the day kids would be scared if they messed up cause dad would get the belt. How it should be now. Kids won't learn any other way.
Here's a thought, just permanently close the school and expell everyone there from going to another Ontario high school again. They want an education they can move to another province or the US. Or start expelling more kids. Kids should get like 2 or 3 strikes and that's it.
Why are these kids allowed to continue to attend the school if they are interfering with the success of so many of the other students. It's not fair to the other kids that are there to learn and who want to be successful.
I live really close and in middle school. This is my home high school and will not be going here and applying somewhere else that is better
There's a distinction between child abuse and beating the f*** of the children who are pieces of s***. Sociologists and psychologists with their unscientific studies have made us believe otherwise. Many adults who were disciplined as kids, knew better not to do dumb s***.
Its a gangsta type of school full of future criminals. Its not just school thats responsible but also parents. I mean a single mom parent since father is out of the picture.
Easy fix - police officers, social workers, mandatory searches
When there is zero discipline for our youth then this happens. Youth are not fearful anymore of consequences because there are none. Parents are not allowed to parent anymore and the law can not uphold justice. The whe system is a failure

Easy fix. Get a Joe Clark as principal. Those bad kids need to be removed and made an example. Hold the parents accountable. Some kids are getting off way too easy. Get a true HNIC to make real moves & get the school back to a place of education and not a resort for problem kids
