City of TerraceBC gets down to business after oath of office

Newly-elected City of Terrace mayor and council took their oaths of office at city hall Nov. 7 following a ceremonious march into the room to the sound of bagpipes and accompanied by RCMP in Red Serge.

Also in attendance were Kitselas First Nation Chief Councillor Glenn Bennett, MLA for Skeena Ellis Ross and outgoing Terrace mayor of Terrace Carol Leclerc. As a first order of business after swearing in council chose Bujtas and Cordeiro as directors to represent the city at the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine board for one year.
