acoyne Thoughtful article. One could posit that a 'good death', like a good life, is one that courageously faces life's challenges with a constant eye towards the impacts of our life and death on those more vulnerable. Any type of MAiD is bound to influence society's attitudes.
I rarely agree with anything the National Post publishes, but this op-ed is spot-on. It did hear as well these stories about MAID suggested to people in psychological distress, or elderly in nursing homes. Governments at all levels need to put stronger safeguards around MAID
I think I life is given by a God, can’t be taken by anyone except Him and according to certain values prescribed by Him . Suffering an non reversible sickness was treated before with painkillers and emotional support . No one can take his own
