China locks down 65 million to curb COVID, discourages holiday travel

China recorded 1,552 new cases in the latest 24-hour period across a nation of 1.4 billion people, the National Health Commission reported Monday. The fear of being caught in a lockdown or sent to a quarantine facility for even being in proximity with a person who tested positive has severely constrained people’s work, socializing and travel habits.

I find it fascinating that the country where COVID was born is the only one left in the world (that I know of) that is still doing large scale lockdowns. Maybe next time, don't mess with unknown viruses?

I wish we had these kind of solid lockdowns. Instead, we had “COVIDIOTS” who continually spread COVID. China is way smarter to use the lockdown tool years into the future. We all can learn from China
