Musicians from the U.S., Canada, Taiwan, Romania, Israel, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands and Korea will be featured in five performances. Wednesday’s opener at the National Music Centre was to include Mozart’s Sonata for 2 Pianos, Mendelssohn String Octet, Op. 20 and the Canadian premiere of a new work by Moscow-born composer Yevgeniy Sharlat.
