Expect detours mid-August for planned closures to LRT and Highway 417 | CBC NewsGetting around Ottawa could require some rerouting in mid-August as maintenance closures are planned for both the LRT's Confederation Line and a midtown section of Highway 417. It griefs me to hear it is planned for August when ridership is low when the work was postponed from June due to supply chain issues. Rescheduled because they wanted to avoid a strike then close 2 major travel routes at the exact same time. Ottawa residents your politicians and transportation planners really suck at their jobs. No wait, this guy didn't have a PAL... illegal handgun... HMM Sure ok ..😏 Do the Americans know about this ?
