Disgruntled CanadaPost workers where innocent customers pay the price for their ill intent. This recorded video should be used in a court of law. Customers should start suing Canada Post.
At Christmas give him an envelope with a note telling him his Christmas card and tip can be picked up at random address
Happens 90% of the time at my condo in Tecumseh. They don’t even leave a delivery slip, it comes in the regular mail the day after the tracker says it’s been delivered.

My experience was a Sunday delivery by Postes Canada who ran doorbell, smiled and gave me the package.
That's pretty two-faced... She told him it was ok then bashed him to the media?! He wasn't rude & apologized, saying usually no one is home. They are overburdened.

This happened to me just Wednesday! Someone was home, car in driveway, but left the slip without trying. They used to knock at my house but not anymore.

Of course the union will argue that he is a contractor..not an actual employee of Canada Post...to me he is an 'agent' of Canada Post. But yeah ...seeing this all over the place and rarely do they ask for ID.
Every time I order something I get an email saying they attempted delivery and I can pick up my package at the post office. My security cameras show no one coming to my house and there's no notice on the door, they literally drop it off at the post office and tell me to get it
It happened to me... I took off from work for an important delivery, what I found end of the day, a delivery slip in mailbox 😂

Couriers do this too. Maddening. They're paid to deliver stuff. Canada Post isn't cheap to begin with, then we have to waste gas/transit fare to pick up our own parcels? Should get a discount if we're doing the work!
I had a totally diff exp - same day - our postie knocked, handed me the parcel and our mail, all with a smile - Foxboro On.

Because they don't have time to slow down let alone stop to transact with a customer. The business won't allow for that down time. It's not the employees, it the business.
I actually thought they had stopped the practice of bringing parcels to your house entirely...Been home many times when the parcel slip was pushed through the mail slot. No knock.

Ah, the elusive Canada Post employee in their natural habitat. The fact that he didn't even bring the package means he had absolutely zero intent of doing his job. However, he also knows he can do what he wants with no repercussions because union.
where i live one time i got the slip and went to pick up my package only to find it hadn't even arrived at the post office. They never intended to deliver it at all.... and it was small enough to fit in my mail box....

Happens often, I think. I have literally been in the living room watching the mail worker put the parcel slip in the box without knocking and without parcel in hand. Annoying having to get my sister to drive me to post office to get my parcel.-Angela

This happened so often at our condo in downtown Montreal we had to call Canada Post to complain. When I finally got through they actually told me they’d received other complaints about my carrier.
Why is this still being posted. 2-3 days now same shit. They all doing. You guys are fishing for something.
