Adam Wainwright is returning for a 15th season with the Cardinals.

The 38-year-old made 31 starts for the Cardinals last season, posting a 14-10 record with a 4.19 ERA. He had a 3.00 ERA in two appearances in the playoffs. Wainwright is a three-time all-star and two-time Gold Glove winner.

He won the World Series with the Cardinals in 2006.
