Canucks winger Antoine Roussel has been fined $5,000 for slashing Predators defenceman Yannick Weber.

Vancouver’s Antoine Roussel has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for Slashing Nashville’s Yannick Weber.The incident occurred late in Monday’s 6-2 win by the Canucks. With the score out of reach, Roussel was knocked to the ice by Weber in front of the Predators net.

Roussel was assessed a two-minute minor for slashing, two minute minor for cross-checking and a 10-minute misconduct. Tinordi was given a 10-minute misconduct.
