Tatar is in the middle of a career-best season with a team-high 22 goals and 61 points in 68 games.

In other Canadiens news, winger Brendan Gallagher missed the morning skate with an illness and is a game-time decision against the Lightning. The Canadiens play in Tampa Bay Thursday night then finish their road trip Saturday against the Florida Panthers.
