Canadians Damian Warner and Pierce LePage are sitting first and fourth after the first three events of the decathlon at the World Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore.
Warner followed that up by taking first in the long jump as well, with a leap of 7.87 metres, while LePage was seventh with a season’s-best result of 7.54 metres. After three events, Warner was sitting with 2,846 points, followed by American Zachery Ziemek with 2,756 and then Ayden Owens-Delerme of Puerto Rico at 2,728. LePage was in fourth with 2,725.
