Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse, who's captured silver and bronze at the Olympics and world championships, should be one of the country's biggest stars at this summer's Tokyo Olympics. And he has his sights set on a golden Olympic goal.

Canada's Andre De Grasse celebrates after winning the bronze medal in the men's 100m at the World Athletics Championships at the Bird's Nest stadium in Beijing on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015. PICKERING, ONT. -- Andre De Grasse had just wrapped up a morning of shooting a Team Visa commercial at the Pickering Soccer Centre.

De Grasse, who was discovered by Sharpe at a high school meet, skyrocketed to stardom before hamstring injuries in back-to-back years derailed the better part of two seasons. De Grasse announced he was back by racing to silver in the 200 and bronze in the 100 at the world championships in Doha this past fall.

But De Grasse erased any lingering injury doubts by running sub-10 seconds in the 100 metres in July, while not in top form. He ran another sub-10 a couple of weeks before the world championships. And so, he arrived in Doha fully expecting a good outcome.

Military: Shorter skirts, disaster relief and highlighting medals as 'bling' might bring more women inThe Canadian Armed Forces has set a goal of having women fill 25 per cent of the ranks by 2026. Women currently make up 15.9 per cent. What happens when the armed forces find out that women aren't nearly as interested in such a career as men? Lol. Perhaps if they realized women were human, they wouldn't resort to 'shiny' objects. We aren't fish. Lol. Oh look, you can wear shorter skirts & bling. Ooooooh. Heaven forbid they realize women are human & only want to be respected the same way the men are. Not that I would be applying, if I was shorter, slimmer skirts is not what would get my attention.
