And substantial spending on Canada’s dismal pensions is coming when

And when are pension increases coming

On the bright side we got rid of many of our old, obsolete weapons by giving them to the Ukraine and then giving ourselves a pat on the back. Win-win!

According to conservative media.

We must do our part. I'm tired of our excuses.

We are buying planes we should have purchased a long time ago but we are now paying much more. We did not keep up with our committments. Just another Trudeau mistake, that costs the taxpayer dearly. Just another notch in his belt.

Canadian Mimitary has been underfunded for years, at some point you either go all in or not all.

And now we know how the debt equals credit scenario will continue climbing higher when we could not figure out how we can get ourselves in any more debt than a pandemic.... now we know. War

Or! We could stop giving the peoples money to defence contractors and weapons manufacturing.

Ignored for over a decade, cancelled many contracts that cost us billions but now they want to help.

Conservatives want to spend more but dont want to pay the taxes required. Conservatives are poor money managers.

RosieBarton No money for our military. Trudeau gave it to the enemy.

RosieBarton 'Charron hypothesized that in a situation where Russian President Vladimir Putin lashes out in the Arctic.' Really? He can supposedly barely handle Ukraine and we're expected to believe that if he actually attacked Canada, a NATO country, that it would be some kind of 'problem'?

Canadian Armed forces 'cut and ran' away from the Taliban, who had no airforce. Fun fact: over 17 thousand sexual assault claims in the Canadian Armed Forces!

What they really need is new legislation governing procurement, a de-politicization of procurement and a de-linking of weapons development and manufacture from economic development. We should not follow the American road of using weapons manufacturing as jobs created.
