The complaints against Nike and Dynasty were filed on June 21 last year by a coalition of 28 civil society organizations. Nike has rebuffed the claims, saying audits and investigations at each of the factories found no links to forced labour. “Given the high-risk context, there is a need for enhanced human rights due diligence to identify, prevent and mitigate the human rights-related risks of Nike’s operations,” the CORE said in its assessment.It added that the company “has not provided a satisfactory response or remedy to the allegations in the complaint, nor satisfactorily demonstrated that it conducts human rights due diligence.”
