Other countries have developed more stringent medical screening, such as health checks prior to immigration clearance and quarantine vehicles

How many coronavirus cases are there in Canada, by province, and worldwide? The latest maps and charts Wesley Lesosky, the president of the union representing roughly 10,000 Air Canada flight attendants, said Wednesday there should be more safety precautions to ensure the health of inbound passengers upon arrival.

“Like many countries around the world, Canada is assessing what long-term changes are needed to enhance the air travel journey to continue to protect the health and safety of the travelling public,” he said. Conservatives were calling for enhanced screening measures at airports as early as January, he said, adding the government ignored their questions and played down the threat of the virus.

Trudeau told us there's been screening for months. Then again, he told us he stopped international flights too. He's told so many lies it's hard to keep up.

Sure, like there is any...

Should do that in January.

globepolitics Why would they bother to start now?

Temperature checks are only a very small part of a preventative strategy ,firm quarantines that are monitored and strictly enforced as well as masks and physical distancing are necessary.

🤦‍♂️ BillBlair what sort of incentive is required for you to do your job? This never ends.

This gong shows been going on from the get go.. One more fckup to add to Trudeau's legacy

globepolitics Canada (actually meaning the federal government) has been urged to do just that for over 6 months now. This is nothing new. But they are either unwilling or just too incompetent to ever do so.

I’d say that’s a pretty good idea.
