As many Canadian employees shift to working from home amid the coronavirus pandemic, some are sharing tips on how to stay productive when you're not used to working outside the office.

TORONTO -- As public community spaces, restaurants and bars temporarily shut their doors amid warnings from health officials trying to slow the spread of COVID-19, many Canadian workplaces are telling their employees to do their job from home.For those who have never had to work from home before, it may be hard to adjust and stay productive in what is typically a leisure setting.

The tech company is allowing the workers to do their job from home. They’ll be relying more than ever on video conferencing to make sure teams can connect and feel like they’re still at the office. Tubanos will have to juggle taking care of her toddler while also working from home. Tubanos’s husband is also working from home, and has chosen to set up his office space in a quiet spot in the hallway.

I'm a factory worker (currently on maternity leave), but what about this industry? Easily 200+ people per shift everyday yet we are expected to punch in everyday risking our lives along with our families and others. Oh sorry that we don't have office jobs 9-5 who get that luxury

So what about truck drivers,skilled trades, and health care workers, they can’t work from home! This horrible situation of have to work from home effects literally 5% of the work population. Essentially the most important workers that keep the country going can’t work from home
