Canadian officials are currently in talks with suppliers and other countries that need vaccines working on plans to donate Canada’s excess doses of Pfizer and Moderna. Vaccine donations are trickier than they might first sound, because of legal liabilities and vaccine dose expiration issues. Biden said the U.S. was doubling its donations to more than one billion and said “we need other high-income countries to deliver on their own ambitious vaccine donations and pledges.” He said the goal should be to vaccinate 70 per cent of the world’s population within 12 months. It noted that to date, Canada has contributed more than $2.5 billion to help address the crisis globally, including sharing vaccine doses with the rest of the world.

Africa has only fully vaccinated four per cent of the population, compared with 51 per cent in Europe and 45 per cent in North America.

Then why did they apply for the job? I chose to work at one of the Elections Canada offices where we started taking votes the day after the election was called. Always felt safe. I also worked at a mobile polling station at a retirement residence. Not once did I feel unsafe. Worst Job in Canada 12 plus hours with out any scheduled breaks for Lunch or coffee. Not worth the $17 an hour. No wonder they have trouble finding workers. Talk to Trudeau about that
