Canadians could see lower grocery bills as food prices drop for the fourth month in a row, according to a United Nations Agricultural Organization report

Canadians could see lower grocery bills as food prices drop for the fourth month in a row, according to a United Nations Agricultural Organization report.

Dr. Sylvain Charlebois of Dalhousie University in Halifax, a Canadian researcher and professor in food distribution, say people have a lot of promotions and discounts to look forward to. “There is a bit of a lag affect when it comes to commodity prices and retail prices, depending on the commodity you look at,” Charlebois said.

The UN says the drop in prices was led by large percentage drops in the cost of vegetable oils and cereals, with the recent UN-brokered deal on Ukrainian grain exports being a reason for the decrease. With food costs at alarming highs, Charlebois is asking people to be careful with what they are buying as “greedflation” is still an issue.

Alberta NDP slams United Conservative Party for health centre closures | Globalnews.caRecent data from AHS showed most of the reductions happened in rural communities such as Peace River, Rocky Mountain House and Sundre. We’ll now, if the ndp would have put more nurses etc. to work, instead of hiring all their friends to sit in easy chairs at AHS head office, this would not be a problem . the NDP doesn't want to admit a lot of this has to do with the liberal mandates federally put in place and a lot of Health agencies now have as policy. How many nurses are still sitting at home right now simply because they want to make a choice? The NDP is just as responsible Is the UCP closing centres or is it AHS? You're slamming the wrong people

Opinion: The Mar-a-Lago raid brings the United States a step closer to civil warAn ex-president in jail is an entirely plausible scenario, but what will the fallout be? Is it worth it? Russia failed. Taxes failed. J6 failed. Dems are turning Trump into a martyr. All this witch hunt will do is drive Trumpers to the polls. This is a disgrace of a headline. It’s far from it. You should be embarrassed by this headline. Unbelievable.

UN chief affirms support for denuclearized North KoreaUnited Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Friday proclaimed unwavering U.N. commitment to a fully denuclearized North Korea, even as a divided Security Council allows more room for the isolated country to expand its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs. Lol, US is a major threat Surely they're very willing to cooperate in PyongYang. The problem here is you are dealing with a leader who is very likely to use nukes if attacked. I suggest you ask Trump to negotiate this deal, after all he met the guy more than once.
