OTTAWA -- Canadian researchers are developing a "lab-in-a-box" that could make it cheaper and faster to diagnose cases of the novel coronavirus, particularly in remote areas of the world.
"What we are trying to do is make that functional clinical capacity available more globally," Pardee said. The technology is already reliable in a lab setting, Pardee said, and the grant money will go toward making it accessible to people without specific scientific skills.
OK, this tells me how stupid Canadians have become. Bragging about getting free money from the gov't to make a redundant test kit. Do we not believe in capitalism anymore? Do these leaches not do their testing of course not, when every is free.
We don't have to reinvent the wheel here. Test kits were being made by CDC, why not get their plan. The question is: Are Canadians being tested properly which it seems were not. Only the sick who show up at a clinic are tested, those not as sick and fight through the virus are..

These test kits will be redundant a project still on the test table. Let's be honest with the Canadian public, media. Their is a lack of test kits for this virus as being reported by the US team and CDC. Trump had talked two major drug companies to make up the difference.
Well let just hope when it goes commercial that the instructions are in large print & translate exactly what the English version say's, not a half ass'd version of what a foreigner reprinting thinks it say's. I had that happen with electronic things I bought online!
