McCann and Dubois scored in a 90-second span early in the opening period, before Peter Cehlarik made it 2-1 when Brandon Hagel deflected the Slovakian’s pass into his own net. Switzerland eliminated Germany in the other quarterfinal by edging last year’s runner-up 3-1 in Ostrava.
