Canada added a pair of bronze medals to kick off the second day at the Beijing Paralympics on Sunday.

Calgary's Alana Ramsay won bronze in the women's Alpine super-G standing, shortly before Collin Cameron of Canmore, Alta., finished third in the men's cross-country long distance sitting.The 27-year-old Ramsay crossed the finish line in one minute 16.84 seconds – holding onto the bronze medal by 0.09 seconds. Zhang Mengqiu of China won gold while France's Marie Bochet took home silver.Mollie Jepsen from West Vancouver, B.C.

In the long distance sitting at the Zhangjiakou National Biathlon Centre, Cameron's time of 47:36.6 earned him the fourth Paralympic bronze medal of his career. He was 4:27.4 behind gold-medal winner Zheng Peng of China.Edmonton's Derek Zaplotinsky came in 13th while Ethan Hess of Pemberton, B.C., was 18th.
