Town councillor Cathy Hinton of Ward 3 said she was recently contacted by residents in her ward letting her know that people were camping overnight on Wood Street – in the ‘lookout’ parking lot which includes an entrance into, as well as the parking lot for the soccer field, located just a little further down the hill.
“These are the things we sometimes run into – inaccurate information,” he said. “People may think the internet is always the place to go but, sometimes, it’s not.” “I would like to see, at some point, something not in the park but close by, where we could have RVs be able to come and set up in Truro because tourists spend money,” Hinton said. “I would like to see that down the road, that option available.”
