Hmm, wondered what the consequences would be for vaccine mandates forcing out workers. Lol

Better legalize more drugs and keep reanimating the lifeless addicts clogging the system... Also better stop treating the unvazzed who make up less than 7% of all covid cases...

“The key factor in EMS red alerts remains the amount of time EMS crews must remain in hospital emergency departments waiting to safely transfer care,' 🙄😒

makes me wonder why they are going out to non emergent calls where a taxi to the nearest hospital would suffice.

Probably nothing to do with firing unvaccinated EMTs…

This is Kenny’s fault

CstCJMartin Does anyone actually have the stats when Calgary ran EMS? If so, has the data been extrapolated for population growth, etc? Curious as to whether this problem has been around but we are only hearing of it more recently? Oh, this is still totally unacceptable

Cons are trying to get us used to the hell Private For Profit ' health care ' will bring

They should not be left to sit at the hospital all day after taking a patient there! This is the stupidest thing ever. Some ambulances only answer one call per shift

Maybe AHS could afford to hire more paramedics and buy more ambulances if they didn't blow the budget on Hinshaw's bonuses and ridiculous salary. I'm sure she's not the only public servant raking it in.

Maybe if the Calgary Police Service started enforcing the traffic rules we would have less collisions that require ambulances. So we could say that a portion of problem is that of the Calgary Police services failure to prevent collisions through active enforcement.
