Attacks occurred on the same day that a woman was allegedly \u0022pantsed\u0022 while walking at UBC.

In a statement, spokesperson Cpl. Mike Kalanj said the first alleged attack occurred at around 1 p.m. inside the Metrotown Superstore on Mar. 31, in which the victim’s buttocks were slapped.

“The first victim was inside when she was slapped on the buttocks by an unknown male who fled the area,” Kalanj said. “The incident was reported to police and RCMP were actively investigating when they received two additional reports of similar assaults on women in the Metrotown area. The second and third incidents happened around 9 a.m. on Friday, April 1.”

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his late 20s to early 30s, wearing a red V-neck “Canada” top with a Maple Leaf logo and a black hoodie or jacket with grey sleeves and dark stripes down each arm.Article content “Work is underway to confirm whether these incidents are linked. We want the public to be aware that these sexual assaults have occurred,” Kalanj said. “Information about the suspect has also been distributed to policing agencies across B.C. as we work to identify a suspect.”Meanwhile, the UBC RCMP is investigating after a complaint from the friend of a woman who said her pants were taken down on April 1 while she was at an intersection and the alleged attacker then photographed her.
