Eight people are facing dozens of charges, including a Brooklin resident, after an OPP-led investigation into a drug trafficking ring in Thunder Bay.
The OPP-led Provincial Joint Forces Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team launched an investigating into a multi-jurisdictional drug trafficking network back in January. They carried out three search warrants in the south end of the city May 30 and seized the following items:One 31 round high-capacity magazine with 11 rounds of ammunitionApproximately 300 grams of suspected crack cocaineEight people were arrested. Six were remanded into custody, including the Brooklin resident, while two were released from custody.
