His casket draped in a Canadian flag, former prime minister Brian Mulroney arrived in Ottawa on March 19 for the final time as a number of dignitaries and members of the public making their way to the capital to pay their respects to the man and to his family. Prior to his funeral in Montreal on March 23 at the Notre-Dame Basilica, an official lying-in-state is taking place in Ottawa for the late federal leader, who led the country from 1984 to 1993. Just after 9:30 a.m.
