Brampton councillors approve personal fireworks ban

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Residents of Brampton, Ont. will no longer be allowed to set off personal fireworks after city councillors approved a recommendation for a ban following a surge in complaints.

Others spoke about how fireworks were part of their family gatherings for Diwalli, or suggested the recent increase in complaints about fireworks was a result of people being homebound during the COVID-19 pandemic. Keenan also said in his motion that the city’s bylaw and enforcement team has issued $38,000 in fines this year, and excessive noise, fire-safety concerns and left-over garbage piles are among the grievances received.

Fireworks, aka fun, as was honking, is subversive for the very serious Karens of Brampton. They need their sleep to dream of trysts with Trudeau and plan for the castrations of contrarians.

Right. The kids have had way too much fun over the past few years. Oh wait . . . it's not because of the kids, you say? It's because of the thoughtless immigrants. Got it.

Time to ban all entertainment as well. Bars and restaurants play loud music, cars should be banned from having stereos. Emergency vehicles should be banned from using sirens. Planes should not be allowed to land at Person as they create excessive noise.

The fireworks disaster in Brampton is a glaring example of failed integration and long ignored anti-social behaviour by a majority immigrant population.

Good job Mayor hopefully Toronto will follow on the same foot I love it and this band could be primarily due to irresponsible people in my opinion but it is what it is

I approve wholeheartedly. There is always a pile of spent fireworks at the Lakeside park by people who think it a great place to explode them at night over special events. The wildlife there is not safe with all the noise and light show. Good on Brampton.

Because in Trudeau's CommunistCanada there will be NO ENJOYMENT OF LIFE, UNLESS YOU HAVE GOVERNMENT PERMISSION DO SO.

Great! Brampton took the lead there. I wish it was more significant issues like the 410 traffic, crowded buses, stolen cars, and other crimes.
