Peel Regional Police fraud detectives said in a release that between October 2020 and January 2023, Elizabeth Sarginson, 50, was in charge of collecting payment for the rental of the church hall.The Brampton woman was arrested Thursday and is charged with fraud over $5,000.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fraud Bureau at 905-453-3311, ext. 3335 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS .
