Khamzat Chimaev will take another step towards greatness. Anderson Silva will KO Jake Paul. Valentina Shevchenko will become a double champ. MikeyJ_MMA makes some bold UFC predictions for 2022.

Nate Diaz’s and Jorge Masvidal’s names were on Paul’s tongue after the win but setting up a fight with either of them would require Dana White and the UFC to play ball. Anderson Silva on the other hand? The longtime UFC middleweight champion isn’t under any contractual obligation.

Woodley had knockout power, sure, but he is not a striker by nature. Silva is and has shown both a willingness and capability of putting hands on opponents with great precision whether in a cage or ring. There is a dearth of viable contenders in the women’s flyweight division save for perhaps No. 5-ranked Taila Santos and No. 14-ranked Manon Fiorot down the line, neither of whom carry much star or drawing power currently.

McGregor’s only win since 2016 was his quick finish of an overwhelmed Donald Cerrone two years ago. At this stage for McGregor, though, it qualifies as bold to predict the Irish superstar will have his hand raised at any point inside the Octagon regardless of the opponent.

Many Canadians happier now than last year and expect to be even cheerier in 2022: pollThe implication of these numbers is that, as Canadians see it, it could be worse. \u0027At some point you say we’ll get through this too\u0027 I think that headline is a form of brainwashing. Opinion | A wish for 2022: We become more inquisitive and discerning about the words we useLet’s question our vocabulary around Indigenous issues. What does “community” mean? Who is a “pretendian” and who’s “real”? Who manages the criteria? Sounds quite condescending, or obvious…maybe define the “people” so we can all ask them to be more literate, inquisitive, and discerning. And yet the price tag arbitrarily placed on higher education goes up every year, usually without a corresponding increase in the salaries of those who'd benefit from it most. Maybe it's society's so-called 'leaders' who need to become more enlightened.

Why autonomous vehicles won't be taking over Ontario's city streets in 2022 | CBC NewsThe drive to put autonomous vehicles on the market has sped up over the last decade but that doesn't mean self-driving cars will be truly road-ready anytime soon. There's be no need for insurance, god forbid... Tesla is already on the road. It can drive itself, not that it should, but it can. Autonomous vehicles will never become mainstream. At least not for many decades or centuries even. Our roads and highways systems are simply not designed for it at all. It's not going to happen for a very long time.
