The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled left-hander Anthony Kay from triple-A and optioned T.J. Zeuch.

Kay was placed on the injured list on May 27 with a left fourth digit blister before being reinstated on June 3 and optioned to triple-A. The 26-year-old is 0-2 with a 6.62 ERA in 17.2 innings in five appearances for the Blue Jays this season.

Zeuch was recalled from triple-A on Thursday and started the series finale against the New York Yankees. He allowed five hits and three runs , striking out two batters and walking a pair over three innings. The Blue Jays open a three-game weekend series in Baltimore on Friday with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET/4:05 p.m. PT. Watch the game on Sportsnet ONE and SN Now.
