Lourdes Gurriel Jr. is active for today's game vs. Yankees.

The 25-year-old hasn’t suited up for the Blue Jays since Aug. 8 as he’s been recovering from a left-quad strain suffered while running out a ground ball late in a game against the Yankees.

Prior to the injury, Gurriel had been an early bright spot for the club this season, batting .279/.331/.548 with 19 homers and 18 doubles through 79 big-league games this season.
