The problem is that the cure-all potion commonly known as MMS is, in essence, industrial grade bleach. And selling this toxic and sometimes deadly chemical concoction as medicine is illegal.Sign up to receive the daily top stories from the National Post, a division of Postmedia Network Inc.By clicking on the sign up button you consent to receive the above newsletter from Postmedia Network Inc.
And some sellers minted millions: One of the largest was a church, the Genesis II Church of Health and Healing, run by a family whose rise and fall is the subject of “ Smoke Screen: Deadly Cure,” a new podcast by Bloomberg, Neon Hum Media and Sony Music Entertainment. But health experts say it’s only a matter of time before the products pop up again elsewhere online. Curbing sales of MMS has become a game of whack-a-mole that the Food and Drug Administration has played for over a decade, warning retailers and consumers of the compound’s dangers with little results.
One recent Etsy order came in a priority mail envelope with a pair of 2-ounce blue plastic bottles about the dimensions of travel-size shampoo containers. Instructions called for mixing sodium chlorite with hydrochloric acid, and then waiting 30 seconds for the liquid to change colour. The resulting chemical reaction produced a powerful bleaching agent in the form of an amber liquid with a pungent odour.
The Grenons became one of the best-known sellers of MMS, marketing the bleach solution through their church as a sort of religious sacrament. After Trump’s initial bleach comments, court documents show the family’s monthly sales of the product more than tripled to about $120,000.
Darwin's theories at work!
'Why do they care? 'Chlorine is used in the manufacture of various drugs including those used to treat diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, seizures, cancer and depression. Around 85 percent of pharmaceutical drugs use chlorine or chlorinated compounds.'
Well there are the Darwin awards out there for them.
Great advice from “a very stable genius!”

'... former President Donald Trump floated disinfectant as a possible COVID treatment' --- Trump never said that, but a video in which he talked about light treatment inside the lungs was edited to make him look like he did. It's known as the 'bleach hoax'.
Trump/Danielle Smith/Poilievre supporters?
This is how natural selection works guys
Would have thought more used in one's eyes after reading MSM.
Been taking MMS for years, and make it myself. This remedy has been around for decades, and have cured many an ailment. Again, because it is outside the allopathic protocol, it get a bad rap. Will people ever learn not to trust pharma?
If we remove all the warning labels, the problem will sort itself out.

Never hurts to have more nominees for the Darwin awards, they should replace the Oscars with them
Probably because most of the reviewers are those trying to Advertise for MiracleMineralSolution/Bleach or people drinking it are people trying to get more subscribers to their youtube page.
