The Blackhawks didn't provide any details Monday about what they are examining, but former NHL forward Sean Avery recently told the New York Post that Crawford kicked him after he was whistled for a too-many-men-on-the-ice penalty when he played for Crawford with the Los Angeles Kings during the 2006-07 season. After Chicago announced its probe, that Crawford "was a demanding coach who would actually fight for his players.
Akim Aliu said Peters "dropped the N bomb several times towards me in the dressing room in my rookie year because he didn't like my choice of music." It happened during the 2009-10 season while the two were with the Blackhawks' top minor league affiliate in Rockford. Speaking on a Barstool Sports podcast a year ago, former NHL defenceman Brent Sopel said Crawford "kicked me, he choked me, he grabbed the back of my jersey and just pulling it back." Sopel played for Crawford in Vancouver.
He hit Sean Avery ? He probably felt like murdering him actually. Avery was a poster child for unexplained misbehaviour while in the NHL. I don't see a pattern or heard of Crawford doing anything else, Avery pulled alot of stupid, idiotic stunts so it's no wonder.
Here comes the alt-left cancel culture. They have hockey in the cross hairs now. I think the coaches should have a BlackFaceTrudeau dress up party. Then all will be OK in the minds of the lunatic left.
Yawn 🥱
Coaches are supposed to get results, not be buddies for players.
If Crawford did this wearing blackface all would be well....
Cancel culture comes to the NHL The whiny little fools will destroy every facet of society if given their way
They better damn well review all of Avery's conduct at the same time
.... in not having Gretzky as one of the players in the shootout that he losingly coached in the Olympics?
