Court clears way for major B.C. mine-drilling project on First Nations landsThe Tsilhqot’in Nation had appealed a ruling that upheld the approval of an exploratory drilling program on their land near Williams Lake, but the B.C. Court of Appeal rejected that appeal. About time. That said I think First Nations people should negotiate for a % of all resource industry profits. Trudeau gives billions to people that despise us while natives don’t have potable water and wounded veterans ignored.

Residents evacuated from B.C. homeless camp after series of firesResidents have been evacuated from a homeless camp in Maple Ridge, B.C., where three fires have broken out this week. Now arrest the members of Alliance Against Displacement If they actually cared about these people they would be helping them find housing not encouraging them to trespass amd break laws. They aren’t the first self serving group to try this scam and won’t be the last. Sad to see our $$ spent on immigrants rather than these folks! Having said that, if homeless had more respect for neighbours, hygiene, safety, ecology and by-laws they may be treated better. Nothing is free!
