Staff and customers at the Shelbourne Street Home Depot were evacuated Saturday evening because of a report of a suspicious package that was beeping.
People were moved to a safe distance from the store. The Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team members and explosive experts were called in.Police cleared the area by 8:30 p.m. that night.
