Transit users in Greater Victoria can expect significant reductions in service starting Monday after B.C. Transit removed 34 buses from service as a result of a Transport Canada safety recall.
Vicinity Motor Corp. will notify owners and provide instructions on how to inspect and replace the hoses if necessary, the federal transport regulation agency said. A total of 39 buses were affected by the recall but five buses were repaired in the past week, and there have been no reported leaks on any of the buses operating in Greater Victoria, he said.
