B.C. public schools to provide free menstrual products for studentsStudents at British Columbia public schools will have access to free menstrual products by the end of the year. The schools I've worked in have always had emergency supplies on hand for those who need them. Also, girls have been pretty good about sharing with each other --especially now that they can text each other. This is good news, but not huge news, I think. But I believe they still tax them! They also tax toilet paper! They don’t tax food because it’s a necessity - so menstrual products and toilet paper must be considered luxuries so what do people do without them? Go without! Yuck! Wipe with fingers then wash hands with taxed soap Unlimited access? Good luck keeping those dispensers stocked.
