VANCOUVER — British Columbia has declared a COVID-19 outbreak at a long-term care home in North Vancouver after health officials said two elderly residents were diagnosed with the virus.

So sad. Yes, please stay home if you’re sick! But workplaces need to support this. This carehome worker likely didn’t feel like there was a choice but to go to work, especially when many places are short staffed.

What to buy if you’re worried about the coronavirus outbreakTo prepare for a possible coronavirus outbreak, public health officials are encouraging Canadians to keep a supply of essentials, but avoid stockpiling Advice from a guy that puts 400 lb of meat in his freezer? Really? Just stop. Why are we being told to stock up on water? Tho citified now i was raised on a farm and always have a full freezer and pantry. 2 wk quarantine sounds like heaven to an introvert.

Stockpiling is in full effect, but it’s not the answer to surviving a coronavirus outbreak‘The point of all this is not so you can live off the grid for six months. It’s so that you don’t need to go outside if you get sick,’ says Alison Thompson “stockpiling has only served to disrupt global supply chains.” Hence, free market, supply and demand principles should be followed, without fear of retribution for “gouging.” Dont buy masks they only protect medical staff is the biggest failure in journalism I've seen come from this pandemic. Prepping for an emergency should be done regardless of what this article wants you to believe.
