Canadian Anti-Hate Network launches new online booklet that aims to educate parents, teachers and students

A few weeks ago, Toronto teacher Nigel Barriffe said he spoke to a young, Black colleague who had entered a classroom after lunch to find a racial slur and swastika etched on a school locker.

The booklet was created by the network, a group that monitors hate groups and researches extremism in the country. It includes examples from educators and community members across Canada and provides steps on how to support impressionable children. “Then it escalates all the way to overt [hate groups recruiting students and] organizing within the school community and outside the school community.”

He said there have been recent hate attacks involving youth, including the beating of a Black Edmonton student allegedly by seven other students who were screaming racial slurs. There have also been numerous cases of students distributing hate-promoting flyers. “Inclusion is a choice that we must make and inclusion is something that we must fight for every single day,” Hussen said.

Beware. Anti hate groups generally are haters themselves.

This booklet will be just as useless to fight hate as the gun ban will be to stop gun violence 😂 but I guess we live in an age of virtuosity instead of basing solutions in reality

Its pretty clever calling hate propaganda anti-hate. Good marketing.

There are more good people than bad! We are not as divided as advertised.

Why not combat same discourse coming from political leaders ?

This is just Antifa and our governments and medias alliance with them is clear as day. It's also a con.

This Canadian is surrendering his voting rights to keep his data away from political hate groupsThis Canadian is surrendering his voting rights to keep his data away from political hate groups. There is nothing stopping a hate group from officially registering as a federal political party, granting them access to a number of benefits. Voting in a FPTP simulation of democracy is pointless anyways. That’s the liberal party. Always full of hate. Voting lists are being distributed without permission or require permission from voters when they request mail-in ballots. This s/b private.
