Major fashion retailer Anthropologie launched a small capsule collection of adaptive fashion pieces based on its best sellers.

The conversation around inclusive fashion is one often marred by frustration and disappointment. Even progress can be a reminder of how much further there is left to go. Still, it’s important to celebrate the wins where they happen—and last week represented a big win for the disabled community.

“People think they can’t be sexy or cool anymore when they become disabled because they haven’t seen that represented anywhere, and that’s not true,” says Scalesse. “We need to offer more options so they feel like, ‘I can still be me.’”
