Also on Monday, MPs on the Commons standing committee on Industry and Technology raised questions about the proposed Boeing P-8 deal. Champagne was asked about the meeting with Boeing officials and whether there would be open bidding to replace the Auroras. Bombardier president Éric Martel has been trying to raise concerns with the Liberal government for more than two months about the P-8 proposal. “As President and CEO of Bombardier, I want to publicly share my concern that Canada, which is facing an important choice about the airborne surveillance of its vast borders, may be considering awarding a sole-source contract directly to Boeing,” Martel said in December.

I feel like I've read this script before, and the endgame is votes go to NDP/liberals🤔
These people are unreal. I have never seen so many single source contracts ever!!! This smells like kick backs to some one and it won’t be her directly but will end up in her pocket. This is as corrupt as it gets.
No they call for the government to screw Boeing over.
Here's a twist: buy the P-8 for high end missions and a Dash-8 based MPA for lower cost coastal patrol missions. Bombardier's bizjet based system is good but has too many compromises. BTW, spending sprees happen because of poor planning
Should I bother pulling up Liberal rage at Harper sole sourcing?
Screw Bombardier and there Leftist Masters! Stop wasting Taxpayers Dollars in Queerbec!
If Anand gives a sole source $9 billion order to Boeing when Bombardier makes a cometing aircraft it will proves she is either stupid or corrupt - I suspect the later! Imagine the kickback on a $9 billion no-bid contract! As Procurement Min. Anand awarded some dubious contracts.
