Air Canada pilots are grappling with multiple concerns, including job security, aviation safety, wage disparity and career growth, according to Charlene Hudy, chair of the Air Canada Master Executive Council. Hundreds of pilots from Air Canada gathered for an informational picket on Saturday, calling for better working conditions and higher wages.

Air Canada pilots have been organizing informational pickets across the country in a bid to make their voices heard. According to Hudy, Air Canada pilots are planning to stage a picket in Montreal next week."We're highlighting the fact that we're in contract negotiations with Air Canada right now and we're showing our unity and a resolve toward achieving a world-class contract," Hudy said.

Hudy, who expects the negotiations to continue until November, said that Air Canada pilots are grappling with multiple concerns, including job security, aviation safety, wage disparity, and career growth. She pointed out that Air Canada now has the chance to fix a pressing problem — the pilot shortage across the country.
